Major Sponsor: BASE Chinchilla
The 2026 Chinchilla Buy Local campaign launches on 5 September 2026 and runs through to 5 December 2026, encouraging the community to shop locally, support local businesses and keep local dollars within Chinchilla.
This year’s campaign gives shoppers the chance to win more than $9,000 in prizes, including a $5,000 major prize and two $1,500 monthly prizes. To enter, shoppers simply fill out an entry ticket each time they shop at a participating local business throughout the campaign period.
The monthly prizes will be drawn during October and November, with winners receiving Community Spirit Vouchers to be spent at participating local businesses. The $5,000 major prize will be drawn on 5 December 2026 at the Town Christmas Party in the Botanic Parklands, and the winner must be present to claim the prize.
All campaign prizes are provided as Community Spirit Vouchers, helping ensure the benefits of the campaign continue to flow back into participating local businesses and the wider Chinchilla community.
